Robbie A. Hashem, President of Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter

Dr. O'Robbie Hashem was born in 1966 in Nablus, Palestine until he graduated from high school in 1984. He then immigrated to the USA in 1985, where he attended college and dental school. Dr Hashem is an orthodontist and has been in practice in the Dallas - Fort Worth area since 1996.

Dr Hashem is a member of many organizations, and he currently serves as the President of the Arabic Heritage Society, and the President of the North Texas Chapter of NAAMA (National Arab American Medical Association). He has been interviewed in local papers for his perspective on Muslim & Arab issues.

Dr Hashem considers himself as a modern Muslim and believes in a non-rigid, secular interpretation of Islam, and believes that modern Muslims can & should do much more to stand up to Muslim extremism, and to equally defend their faith against the venomous attacks by the Christian Taliban.
